The splendid capital of India : : New Delhi is a city that breathes history as well as modernity & its architectural masterpieces right from the Mughal era to the British era & present day are all worth a visit. We start the day by visiting the Red fort (Lal Qila). Built in 1648 this is a brilliant red sandstone fort built by the same Mughal emperor who built the Taj Mahal. We also visit other interesting sites like the Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar & the Humanyun's tomb & drive through the colonial buildings with (photo stops en route) which still retain its complete charm.

DAY 03 : NEW DELHI > AGRA (200 KM / 5 HRS)
Epitome of love : We drive towards south east to reach Mughal city - Agra. Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the world-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal emperors. We will visit the most adorable monument of the World- TAJ MAHAL - the epitome of love. We also visit the Agra Fort & if time permits the tomb of Itmadullah.

DAY 04: AGRA > JAIPUR (235 KM / 5 HRS)
Elephant Festival : We drive towards west direction for the beautiful pink city - Jaipur, which was painted pink to honor the visit of Prince Albert in 1876 as the Rajputs considered it a color of hospitality & ceremony. The evening is for you to enjoy the festivities at the Chaugan Stadium. Holi is a festival of colors and so is the Elephant festival. It seems to be all about colors, be they the decked up elephants, dancers in colourful attires or the big colourful turbans (head gears) of the local Rajasthani men.

Pink City : Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of city including a visit to the Amber fort, which we climb on an elephant's back or in a jeep. The main attractions are the Sukh Mandir (Temple of Contentment - an aptly named pleasure chamber, cooled by a stunning water cascade) and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror palace). We also stop to see some of the architectural marvels of Jaipur like the Palace of wind, Jantar Mantar (the observatory) & the city palace complex. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani meal for Dinner at an ethnic resort in the evening.
